Cycling By the Sea
The cycling event organised at Shangumugham Beach, Thiruvananthapuram on 23 June 2026 was successfully completed with great enthusiasm and participation, spreading the message of fitness, sustainability, and an active lifestyle.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, who inaugurated the event and flagged off the cycling rally. The event was also attended by Shri. V. Muraleedharan, Hon’ble MLA, Kazhakkoottam, Shri. V. V. Rajesh, Mayor, Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, and Shri. P. R. Sreejesh, Hockey Player and Arjuna Awardee, adding inspiration and encouragement to the participants.
The programme featured various engaging activities including Zumba, Chendamelam, and SOC Anthem, creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. Cyclists enthusiastically participated in the designated route, promoting the importance of physical fitness and healthy living.

TRIVANDRUM RODE POWERFULLY FOR WORLD BICYCLE DAY 2026! 🌍✨
Trivandrum successfully joined over 200 cities across India to celebrate World Bicycle Day India 2026 as part of the nationwide Fit India Movement initiative! Organized by SAI RC Trivandrum in association with CRPF, CISF, Indus Cycling Embassy, FCI, and ETRL, the event brought together more than 200 cyclists to promote active mobility and healthy living.
A huge thank you to our Chief Guest, Ms. Anukumari IAS (District Collector, Trivandrum), who officially inaugurated the event and flagged off the enthusiastic rally! 🚩🚴♀️
